Our stance on Regenerative braking
Mid drive and Direct drive motors use the same amount of energy to get you up the hill, but why waste produced energy and burn your brakes? The difference happens as you descend. With other brands that offer mid drive motors, you end up burning through your brake pads faster.
With Regenerative braking, we capture that energy used as you go down hill and transmute that into power back to your battery. This reduces maintenance a lot (brakes) and saves energy by allowing you to go even further on the same battery.
Standard All-Axle
- Compatible with every normal sized bicycles and trikes
- Excellent power to weight ratio - At 4kg they are among the lightest direct drive motors in their power class
- Available in both metallic silver and black anodized finish
Max45 All-Axle
- Max45 motors have a wider stator than our standard motors and are correspondingly heavier at 6kg
- Designed to fit all fatbike dropout standards
- Rear Max45 with threaded freewheel model for regular cruiser and chopper bikes that run a single speed chain
Dual All-Axle
- Run dual front/rear motors on a normal bicycle
- Use dual single-sided front motors on trike and quad vehicles
- CA3 system allows pedal assist and throttle to control both hub motors equally
