The Baserunner_L10 is a compact, high-performance motor controller built into an enclosure that drops right inside Hailong and Reention downtube battery cradles — a tidy way to hide your controller out of sight. It drives your motor more smoothly and quietly than the basic controllers on cheaper ebikes.
Specs:
- Up to 14s (58V) battery packs
- Up to 80A peak phase current through the L1019 waterproof motor plug
- 8-pin HiGo plug for CA3-WP control (a WP8→CA-DP adapter is needed for classic CA-DP)
- 9-pin Cusmade Mains signal plug for 3rd-party displays or a rear light
- 6-pin HiGo MiniB for a direct PAS/torque sensor with 3rd-party displays
- Battery leads vary by purchase (bare leads / Anderson Powerpoles / soldered to a Reention cradle)
- Needs computer setup (USB→TTL cable) to pair with your motor; no on/off switch
Waterproofing: since 2025 the regular Baserunner uses a tidier overmold that is not fully waterproof — meant for mounting inside a battery cradle. For external mounting, choose the epoxy-potted Stand-Alone model.
